Stafforce Recruitment is proud to be recruiting for our prestigious client Freemans Grattan Holdings (FGH), a leading online and home shopping retailer whose offer includes fashion, electrical and home ware.

We are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives to work in the Listerhills warehouse based in the BD8 area of Bradford for the returns department.

The role of the Warehouse Operative in the returns department involves processing returned items such as branded clothing, shoes, accessories and household items. In this role you will be picking and packing.

Job Requirements

As a Warehouse Operative in the returns department, your daily routine will include:-

Opening parcels returned from customers.
Locating goods return notes.
Scanning barcode / Keying item into the system.
Taking responsibility for the Health and Safety of self and others.
Ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly.
Working to an Items Per Hour (IPH) Target.
Minimising errors.Similar experience within a fast moving warehouse environment would be advantageous. Two weeks initial training is provided.

The Person

To be successful in this role you will need to:

Be able to work at a sustained fast pace.
Be able to quickly and accurately scan barcodes or manually key items numbers.
Have excellent attendance and timekeeping.
Good communication skills.
Work well within a team.
Drive and motivation.
A careful eye for detail.
Show a high level of flexibility.Due to the nature of the business you will need to be flexible in the hours you work as they can change at short notice. Our Client can operate a “Flex Up” shift which may mean your hours are increased at short notice to meet demand. You may also be asked to work weekends so flexibility is key.

This area includes Saturday and Sunday working at the moment. (But 2 days off are given back during the week)

The Salary & Benefits

The company pay a basic Salary: of £26,000per year increasing to £6.75 after a 12 week qualifying period. There is a Bonus structure in place for working quickly and accurately after completion of a 12 month qualifying period.

This has the potential to be a Long term temporary role.
