Immediate Warehouse Manager

WAREHOUSE MANAGER

I am looking for someone who is immediately available to run a large complex warehouse with some transport responsibility

* Leading delivery of process improvement initiatives through operational performance improvement and sharing best practice.
* Providing leadership and development for direct reports.
* Maintaining excellent working relationships with the customers internal and external
* Managing key suppliers to ensure profitability and achievement of service levels.
* Creating a working environment that leads to a motivated and engaged workforce.

* Improving depots performance standards and implementing best practice initiatives, as directed.
* To develop and maintain excellent relationships, both externally with customers and internally.
* Liaising with the Sales force to ensure that customer requirements are met and sales are maximised, and monitoring service levels.
* Stock Control

* Strong Leadership, people management and communication skills are essential for this role
* Previous experienced in operations management is essential
* Knowledge of Transport Legislation and Health & Safety
* Experienced in Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook Express and Excel

The successful candidate will have experience of running a complex site. Demonstrable experience of developing a highly engaged workforce will be a key aspect of the successful candidate. A fun team and a great development opportunity
