Trainee Stock Control / Repair Coordinator

My client is looking to recruit an open minded, keen individual to deal with repairs and quotations. You will be required to assist with the repairs and to co-ordinate the activities of the department.
Duties:
You will be learning how to do the physical repair of the units alongside our in house expert. Stock management (maintaining correct levels of stock and ensuring that all of the parts which have been used are booked out correctly and ensuring the stock is replenished)
Taking enquiries from customers and sending over quotes
Scheduling the departments work load to ensure that all repairs are carried out in good time and deadlines are met.
Dealing with any other queries relating to the in house repairs.
Contacting target customers to try and obtain more business
Improving turnover and profitability for the department
Providing Holiday and sickness cover for the Stores department
Assist another team member with ‘goods in’ when necessary

The ideal candidate must have GCSE grade C or above in ICT, knowledge of the SAP system and MRP systems would be a great advantage however this is not necessary as training will be given.
Training will be provided in house so you must be keen to learn and progress as the business grows.
