Customer Relationship Manager (Nursing Home)

Large Nursing home (elderly / dementia) based in Wokingham are seeking an experienced Customer Relationship Manager to be responsible for the sales and marketing of the Home.

You will lead and manage the sales and marketing of the Home, working closely with the management team to provide strong leadership, to ensure that the Home is promoted in the area and ensure that the Home’s relationship centred care is published.

Duties will include

Marketing and Sales

Ensure plans are implemented for special events, networking programmes and marketing plans as appropriate to the Home
Ensure all resident move-in process is managed and integrated into the Home
Manage the meetings with the Home Management team to review and sign off upcoming week’s resident move in
Support the management team in the Home to ensure that occupancy and revenue targets are exceeded
Ensure the sales and marketing spending is managed effectively within the budget set out by the company
Ensure that you regularly participate in sales and marketing seminars to ensure that the company is aware of any future marketing and industry ideas
To actively engage with the residents of the Home in conversation and meaningful occupation related to their lifestyle choices at a level and pace that values the individual and respects their dignity and communication differences
To respond in a timely way to residents who are distressed (calling out, calling for help, knocking or making noises that suggest the need for support) or seek assistance if you feel unable to respond appropriately)
Leadership and Management

Support, empower and inspire the teams to deliver sales outcomes for the Home
Build positive relationships by regular communication with residents, relatives and external stakeholders
Ensure all reporting internally and externally is completed accurately and on time
Lead on sales training to ensure all team members have correct skills to understand sales and marketing for the Home
Essential experience required:

Proven track record in sales (business to consumer) such as car sales, estate agency – selling direct to the public
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent written, non verbal and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of care homes (desirable)
Proven track record in leading, empowering, supporting
Knowledge and competence in Microsoft Office applications/Windows operating systems (Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Word)
Salary OTE £36,000 – £43,200 per annum plus benefits.
