Single Source Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Senior Reliability Engineer on behalf of an exceptional and forward thinking engineering business. They require an experienced Reliability Engineer with previous experience of working with various reliability software. Duties and Responsibilities of a Senior Reliability Engineer:

• Your time will be split between undertaking consulting work, training clients and providing pre-sales and post-sales technical support.
• You would be undertaking consulting projects, supporting implementations and deployments within clients who are involved in a wide range of applications, covering most engineering industries.
• Although, you would be primarily involved in Reliability, you would also have an opportunity to get involved in other business areas of Functional Safety, Engineering Simulation and Manufacturing Process Simulation.

Skills and Qualifications required from a Senior Reliability Engineer:

• Relevant degree in an engineering discipline or similar.
• Advanced level knowledge in a range of reliability engineering techniques, including:
• Failure Mode and Effect Analysis
• Fault Tree Analysis
• Failure Reporting Analysis Corrective Action Systems
• Reliability Block Diagrams
• Failure Rate and MTBF calculation
• Experience applying these techniques to industrial applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present solutions clearly and convincingly to, large and small, technical and non-technical, audiences at a senior level.
• Self-motivation and the drive to achieve objectives.
• A systems thinking mindset.
• Good team-player.

Desirable skills and qualifications:

• Previous experience using reliability engineering software, ideally ReliaSoft.
• Experience scoping project requirements and developing proposals.
• Working knowledge of Life Data Analysis (Weibull).
• Working knowledge of Design of Experiments.
• Experience with Environmental Testing.
