Electrical Engineering Lecturer

Salary: up to £37,458
Full time, permanent (37.5hours per week)
Holidays- 43 days (including BH)
Relocation Allowance of up to £3,000

My client based in North West region are one of the best, reputable Nautical Schools in the UK, attracting students and trainee navy cadets from all around the World. With a graduate employment rate of 100% this is an exceptional place to be a part of. The team are looking for a knowledgeable Trainer in Electrical Engineering to join their expanding department.
The role requires a knowledgeable Electrical Engineer preferably with some electronics and marine experience to deliver to Merchant Navy cadets aged 15-18 mainly on the following qualifications: Electrical Power/ Electrical Principals/ Electrical Distribution systems, and to teach on the course for Marine Electro-technology and Vessel Plant Maintenance. It is a mixture of theory and practical teaching.
What is required from you?
– A minimum of a level 5 qualification- HND minimum
– Industry experience would be an advantage particularly in a marine/ offshore setting- not mandatory. If you can apply your knowledge to the marine industry, this is fine also.
– Training or teaching experience is not mandatory but a wanting to and can do attitude is
– To live close enough to commute every day- however there is a generous relocation package.
