Salary: £30,000 – £33,600 per year
Your role
The UK Payroll & Benefits & HR Systems Officer is responsible for UK Payroll and the administration and implementation of UK benefits programs; also supports the business by providing an administrative HR function, working with the UK HR Manager and the UK HR Business Partners as required to develop and maintain a safe working environment, committed to workforce development and a people culture committed to quality, continuous improvement and high performance. Payroll Manage and process the monthly payroll for all staff accurately and within required timeframes. Provide information, and management reporting in accordance with deadlines as required. Eg: Div. Accounts Dept; Div. Comp & Bens; Plant Manager/Commercial Manager. Ensure that all processes and reporting meet our obligations under SOx Pension Administer the company pension scheme; reconciling the pension monies from Accounts and allocating them to the correct employee pension funds as appropriate. Ensure auto enrolment is managed efficiently and effectively in accordance with legislation a processes. Liaise with external providers as appropriate. Liaise with Divisional Comp & Bens as appropriate. Benefits Ensure that all benefit systems and processes are administered accurately within relevant timeframes and in accordance with appropriate legislation (eg; Cars; Pension; healthcare; salary sacrifice schemes; Long Service Awards – list not exhaustive). Liaise with stakeholders as appropriate (eg: Employees; Division; Providers). Ensure that all processes and reporting meet our obligations under SOx. Time & Attendance Ensure all data is input accurately and within relevant timeframes. Perform system and data checks as appropriate to monitor time & attendance, ensuring compliance with SOx, WTD, and SEDEX; escalate issues as appropriate. Advice & Guidance Provide advice and guidance on Payroll, Benefits and Systems issues field of experience. Responsible for providing employees with information on the Company benefits schemes and organising membership where appropriate. Systems Training Provide internal systems training as appropriate. Induction Liaise with HRBP’s in the induction process to provide necessary information to new starters. General Administration Ensure that all administration within scope is managed efficiently, liaising with relevant stakeholders as appropriate and accurate records maintained. Ensure accurate and timely submission of all data pertaining to the renewal of company benefits, liaising with Division and brokers as required. Reporting & Audit Ensure that all reporting (external & internal) is prepared and submitted accurately and within relevant deadlines (eg: HMRC reporting; overtime; FTE; absence – list not exhaustive). Liaise with Division and relevant audit bodies to ensure information is prepared and made available as required. Support HRM in project activity as required. This list is not exhaustive, and the post holder may be required to perform other duties which fall within the general scope of the role.
About you
LEVEL OF EDUCATION REQUIRED Literacy and Numeracy skills to GCSE level, equivalent or higher Competent in Microsoft Office packages EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Previous Payroll experience and responsibility (ADP Freedom preferred) Previous experience within a HR environment and HR systems operation Good communication skills Computer literacy Adaptability & flexibility. TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED (TECHNICAL EXPERTISE) Sound Payroll knowledge and systems experience Computer literacy as above High level of customer focus.
