Solution Architect

Salary: £84,000 – £108,000 per year

We are looking for a Solution Architect to join our ERP Implementation team to work with Infor LN 10.7 Cloudsuite Industrial around the globe. As we integrate, develop and implement this system, we need a lead person to be in charge of both data and user support, so in essence this is a technical and functional role. We would like Infor LN Cloud Edition (LN CE) or Infor LN 10.7 experience but someone with a sound knowledge of Infor LN working with single logistics multi finance or multi-site configurations would also be effective.

Your responsibilities as Solution Architect will be gathering requirements and functional specifications, ensuring data is collected and cleansed correctly and assessing the needs of the implementation process of Infor LN Cloudsuite Industrial. Your role will be to take the lead on data meetings identify areas in need of improvement and oversee the data capture and analysis. We would like you to consistently update the ERP Project Manager and our ERP Director of these processes as required.

This position can be located anywhere in the UK or Europe.

To be successful as our Solution Architect, you should be able to…

* Understand the needs of our project

* Speak all technical language used by others, although you do not need to be an expert, you need to be able to understand what they talk about

* A background in finance would be awesome but as long as you can interface with our finance team in understanding their needs within the business this will be enough

* It is pivotal is comprehending how the whole system works together so previous project management of an implementation of this kind would be useful

* An outstanding Solution Architect should be able to explain complex problems to management and user teams in layman’s terms and you will be tasked with the functional side of training the system as implementation goes live

* Resolving technical problems as they arise, division by division

* Providing supervision and guidance to users and the technical teams in relation to data management

* Informing various stakeholders about any problems with the current solutions being implemented

* This role is remote, and you will be supporting our businesses around the world, so flexibility to communicate across time zones, excellent communications skills when working with users when English is not their first language

* We will have Consultants who will come and do the heavy lifting where the processing of data is concerned however your role will be to have a detailed view of the system and make sure all works correctly

It would be desirable if you had the following skill set and knowledge for this role…

* Bachelor’s degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, finance, or related field.

* Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design.

* Previous project management experience is advantageous.

* Basic to intermediate understanding of SQL (Query and View)

* Excellent Excel skills working with VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs, nested formulas, and pivot tables

* Sound knowledge of various operating systems and databases.

* Efficient communication skills.

* Strong organizational and leadership skills.
