Internal Sales – Leading Global Engineering Component Manufacturer
Location: Flintshire
Salary: £26,000 – £28,800 per year+ great benefits inc. bonus
Our client is part of a global business that are market leaders and have demonstrated unprecedented growth in recent years. To support their future plans, we are recruiting for an Internal Sales Executive to support their current business and imminent growth strategy. The successful candidate will be a confident communicator, well-organised and have a proven track record of commercial success.
The role:
* Key focus on quoting, placing and managing internal orders, thereafter, ensuring all orders are monitored throughout the customer process
* To ensure all internal IT systems are updated with accurate customer information & orders
* To work alongside the sales & technical teams to ensure customers’ needs are attended to at all times
* To ensure regular follow-up with customers, provide answers to all commercial or technical requests concerning supplier issues.
* To develop cross-selling opportunities and customer loyalty on the existing accounts.
* To maintain regular reporting on agreed KPI’s relating to Offers, Net Sales, Customer visits, forecasts, aged debt, and market intelligence.
* To participate in the implementation of commercial best practice to continuously improve the Sales Department and work towards 100% customer satisfaction.
* To ensure all purchase orders are correctly completed and signed by the relevant manager.
* To continuously liaise with the engineering team to manage orders.
* To undertake in marketing and product promotional activities.
The person:
* Formal education with a minimum of GCSEs to include English & Maths
* Self-motivated with a desire to deliver exceptional customer service
* Self-motivated, with an ability to operate with minimum supervision
* Exceptional time-management & organisational skills
* IT literate, particularly with MS Office
* Exceptional communication skills, both written & verbal
* A desire to progress and develop a long-term career within an international business
