Quality Compliance Engineer
EU citizenship is a must
Being part of an international team, with a de-centralised setup, your main office location can be in the following locations:
· Warrington (UK)
· Lyon (FR)
· Bielefeld or Göppingen (DE)
· Hoboken (BE)
· Alkmaar-Amsterdam-Deventer (NL)
· Dübendorf (CH)
Candidates will be expected to travel 25-50% of the time, the majority will be within Europe.
In the role as Quality & Compliance engineer, for the product group specializing in seals & polymers, you will focus on the quality and compliance of the product and rubber (polymer) materials.
Working within an international team, within the virtual Centre of Expertise (CoE), that currently consists of a Product Manager, 3 other core members and a network of specialists. The CoE team cooperates with a whole network of international colleagues, mainly in Europe.
Main activities will be:
1. Quality
· Setting up/improving and maintaining of a product quality framework with standards for product and material quality and coordinating product quality assurance for the product group.
· Setting up and maintaining the product quality control process of own brand and unbranded products, including company’s internal own brand manufactured products.
· Auditing and (dis)qualifying of new and existing manufacturers to be an approved manufacturer for specific product categories.
2. Compliance
· Participate in international compliance working groups
· Be on top of and understand new and changes in international legislations such as REACH, RoHS, Conflict Minerals et al.
· Evaluate, in cooperation with our material specialists, the impact of regulations on our materials and products.
· Manage compliance and test reports

Your knowledge/skills:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working and thinking level
· Trained auditor in Quality Management Systems
· Basic understanding of rubbers and chemistry
· Affinity with legislation, such as REACH, RoHS, EC1935, et al
· English (fluent speaking and writing), knowledge of German, French and Dutch is a plus
· Project management within cross-functional teams
