We are recruiting for candidates based between North East England and Central Belt Scotland for this rewarding and varied field technician role. The job will entail visiting both end customers and Retail Clients across Northern England and Southern Scotland to undertake service visits and install / support in-store merchandising displays.

Working in this Installation Technician / Field Service position requires an interesting mix between interpersonal abilities and practical basic trade skills. Some previous experience in joinery and / or electrics, either at a tradesmen level or just as a home d.i.y. enthusiast is needed but full in-house training will also be provided to the successful applicant.

This Installation Technician / Field Service role will involve regular travelling (for which a company vehicle is provided) with some overnight stays and would suit a positive outgoing individual with basic trade skills.

Key Responsibilities for the Installation Technician / Field Service role:

* Visiting retailers to ensure product displays are well presented, in good condition and with appropriate POS.

* New installation of products in customer showrooms.

* Visiting end users at home to complete minor warranty repairs.

* Submitting service reports via tablet device.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications sought

* Outgoing positive individual with practical problem-solving skills.

* Good communicator with great interpersonal / customer service skills.

* Well organised with a good work ethic; someone that gets things done.

* Have good practical skills even if only at Home DIY level.

* CSCS cardholder and / or joiner desirable but not essential.

* Happy to undertake a field role that involves regular travelling and holds a full licence.
