Housekeeping Team Member / Domestic Assistant

25 hours per week – Flexibilie Contract (upto 42.5 hours per week)

We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, motivated and experienced people to take on this fantastic challenge within our Housekeeping department.

The successful candidates will receive world class training on YHA’s standards and cleaning practices ready to ensure our hostel remains just as sparkling now as the day it opened.

As a Housekeeper you will work across the hostel maintaining the cleanliness standards of our communal areas as well as cleaning, making bunk beds and preparing rooms for our new guests to arrive to a perfect room every time.

If you’re looking for an exciting challenge outside the standard nine-to-five, then working for YHA could be the job for you. Please note that late shifts and weekend working will be required.

Experience
In order to be a great Housekeeper at YHA we are looking for people who have previously worked in busy hotels, hostels or similar environment and understand the demands this type of role creates.

We will provide full training on how to do the job, however a passion for maintaining excellent cleanliness standards and enthusiasm for delivering excellent customer service needs to come from you.

In order to become an employee at YHA you must be able to produce evidence of your Right to Work in the UK at your interview/assessment.
