£32,420.4.08 plus £2,000 annual car allowance

Our client is a charitable housing association providing homes, care and support across Yorkshire.

They are currently seeking three Neighbourhood Officers, two to join their team in Bradford and one to join their team in Sheffield. The main purpose of these roles is to ensure the delivery of a high quality, customer focussed housing management and neighbourhood service providing comprehensive tenancy and estate management services, lettings and allocations against agreed targets. Within this role your main responsibilities will include enforcing tenancy conditions, responding to complaints of anti-social behaviour to ensure satisfactory outcomes and providing information to support the Income Services team in ensuring proper control over arrears of rent, services charges, supporting people subsidy and the collection of rechargeable repair monies. You will also be expected to actively promote and market empty homes in order to undertake lettings and ensure rent loss is kept to a minimum, undertake new tenancy sign ups and provide advice and information to help customers sustain their tenancy and undertake new tenancy follow up visits.

They are looking for people who are committed to their company values and can demonstrate this by:

Reliable – You will have a good understanding and experience of working within housing management along with experience of dealing with anti-social behaviour cases effectively. You should be CIH Level 3 qualified and ideally hold full or part CIH membership or equivalent.

Enthusiastic – You will have experience of implementing tenant involvement strategies and working with communities whilst actively promoting value for money and efficiency.

Respectful – You will be a strong communicator who is confident when dealing with people at all levels and you will be committed to equality and diversity.
