St. Modwen Logistics develops and manages urban and big box warehouses for customers including global logistics and e-commerce organisations as well as significant national and regional enterprises. Aiming to deliver c. 1.5m sq ft of new warehouse space during 2021 and, with one of the UK’s largest pipelines at c. 19m sq ft, they have an achievable vision to grow the logistics portfolio to over £1bn by 2023.
The Purpose
Our Graduate Marketing Assistant will play a pivotal role, supporting the Senior Marketing Executive to deliver the Logistics marketing plan and promoting St. Modwen Logistics as the developer of choice in the industry.
The Person
We are looking for a creative and driven individual, someone who isn’t scared to think out of the box and really get stuck in!
Once in role you’ll be working with internal and external stakeholders ensuring efficient and accurate production of marketing collateral e.g., brochures, signage, and direct marketing so have an eye for detail is important!
Required Experience
The ability to build rapport with a range of people and develop strong working relationships, communicating in a professional and appropriate manner with colleagues, internal departments, external agencies, contacts and customers.
Excellent communications skills and written English.
Enthusiastic, proactive and eager to learn, in a fast-paced, demanding and customer focused workplace.
Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
Able to appreciate and take a usable photograph.
Key Accountability’s
Proofreading copy for relevant marketing material.
Support with content creation and updating of the Logistics website and social media account.
Support the Senior Marketing Exec to agree content for social media platforms with external agency.
Support the Senior Marketing Exec and external events consultant to plan launch events across the country for relevant schemes.
Manage and distribute internal communications across the Logistics Business Unit and wider Company.
Create email campaigns for Health & Safety and Construction team.
Interpretation of agency data to inform communications of leads and success stories to the wider Logistics Business Unit.
Carry out competitor analysis on a quarterly basis to compare the strengths and weaknesses of competitors compared with St. Modwen Logistics.
Liaising with Mailing houses regarding purchasing mailing lists, and distribution of mailings.
Organise photography sessions at developments.
Uploading of images and videos to the Asset Bank.
Support with raising of purchase orders.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
