Salary: £300 – £312 per day
Site Engineer for a Ground Remediation and Engineering contractor. Must be fully conversant with survey equipment and familiar with GPS and CAD. London based.
The Role. Providing accurate setting out and engineering information on projects involving Ground remediation and bringing brown field sites back into use for further development or to provide sustainable environments. You will be providing setting out information for Enabling Works, Pre-excavation, Quantity surveys, Excavation, Drainage, Muck away, some below ground RC structures and hard landscaping.
The Company. Established over 15 years ago the company has an excellent record in working on Residential, Commercial and Nuclear schemes for Developers, Main Contractors and Local Authorities, working on Remediation, Earthworks and Groundworks schemes.
The Projects. Involve large Residential, Urban brownfield, Commercial and Environmental schemes. Mainly within the M25, but also across the south of England.
Remuneration. Working on a self-employed £300 – £312per shift (negotiable) with travel costs covered or use of a company vehicle.
Requirements:
You must be an experienced Engineer or Land Surveyor who is used to working on your own initiative and capable of making day to day decisions.
Good knowledge of EDM’s, GPS and CAD.
Relevant CSCS card is a minimum requirement with SMSTS / SSSTS an advantage.
Driving licence essential, vehicle may be provided.
Prepared to travel between sites, mainly within M25, some in surrounding counties.
Self-motivated with good communication skills
Competent at record keeping
Legally allowed to live and work in the UK
