I am currently working with a client who is a focused and driven ecological consultancy that’s purpose is in improving the environment across the country. Their history proves that they are motivated in producing the ideal outcomes for all projects both large and small. This organisation will give you the chance to work on a range of projects with both public and private clients.

The successful Ecologist will be able to:

• Be part of a dedicated team that delivers high quality results to its clients base.
• Carry out Phase 1 habitat surveys and provide professional advice on their viability for the habitation of protected species.
• Collect and analyse date from the field work you and your team conduct.
• Produce Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEAs) and similar reports.
• Undertake a range of species surveys including Reptiles, Bats, GCNs and Newts.

To be considered for this Ecologist position you should:

• Hold a degree in a relevant discipline and be a member of CIEEM.
• Have proficient report writing abilities and the desire to carry out protected species surveys.
• A Level 2 Bat License is essential for this position.
• Have demonstratable experience in liaising with clients and maintaining excellent relationships.
• Possess a Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
