Person Specification- SEN Learning Support Assistant
To be considered for this role you must be a graduate with a passion for Special Needs and will be supportive and caring with a “firm but fair” approach. We want to see graduates with the ambition to become Educational Psychologists or Child Psychologists keen to build relevant expeirnce in a paid role providing support on a 1:1 basis with a child who has behavioural and attention difficulties.
About the Role
As a SEN Learning Support Assistant you will be supporting the learning of a specific Year 3 pupil who can present real difficulties in mainstream classes, in terms of behaviour and attention span. You will be a resilient person who is looking for a challenge in providing great support in this 1:1 role. Some training will be given in advance so that you can be effective from day one.
