Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 per year
A long-established components manufacturer in the Newcastle area is seeking a Degree Qualified Design Engineer to join their expanding team offering a competitive salary generous holiday allowance and a great work balance. Remuneration package will reflect experience and role can be adapted top suit either a recently qualified Design Engineer or a Design Engineer with several years experience.
Reporting to the Senior Manager and as part of an overall team of 35, as a Design Engineer you will:
* Help develop new and existing products to customer specifications
* Assist in managing projects through full life cycle
* Be involved in customer liaison
* Liaise with production and oversee prototype build
We are looking for a Design Engineer with the following:
* Degree level qualified
* 2 years experience in a relevant role
* Have design experience using AutoCAD
* Have experience in Mechanical and Electrical design
* Be experienced in project Management
* PCB / circuit design experience would be advantageous
* Be self-motivated and have a great work ethic
You will be working 8.30 am – 4.30 pm, enjoy 24 days holiday plus Bank Holidays and participate in a good pension scheme.
