Data Migration Analyst

Our client is a top Kent legal firm.

They are currently looking to recruit a Data Migration Analyst on a 12-month contract to work as part of the team managing the migration to a new Practice Management System (PMS).

Main responsibilities
• Generating management information for the Project Team including financial data, pipeline management and resource forecasting.
• Development and production of the firm’s Management Information reporting and for building the necessary reports into the new PMS.
• (Post-migration) Design and implement protocols to ensure consistency of data and to provide ongoing data management

Main Duties
• Extracting data sets from legacy databases
• Data cleansing and de-duplication
• Data Mapping
• Verification
• Reconciliation between data sets
• Maintaining data quality post-migration
• Providing progress reports to the Project Manager
• Design and production of the firm’s management information reporting
• Liaison with Business Analysts and Developers to ensure efficient functionality is build within the new PMS
• Assisting the project team with any other aspects of the PMS implementation as needed
