We have immediate opportunities to provide support workers to provide vital support to people with a learning disability through this tough time. We’re recruiting full time, part time permanent and bank Support Workers across the UK now!

What does a Support Worker do?
As a Support Worker you will be expected to provide an outstanding level of support that will enormously contribute to the people we support, living a more comfortable, dignified, liberated and happy life.
Personal care – helping people to get ready for the day and assisting with bathing, showering and using the bathroom.
Supporting people to live independently – budget management, paying bills, house work, organising appointments and cooking delicious healthy meals.
Excellent communication skills/relationship building – supporting the person to understand the world around them and promoting positive relationships.
Community & Social Inclusion- Supporting individuals to access and participate in their local community and Social events to promote life skills and individuality.
Are you looking for a support worker role minus the personal care aspect?
We are currently seeking a support worker to join our team in Stowmarket on a permanent, part time basis (30 hours per week). Here we have a row of two and three bed semi-detached cottages that are home to the people we support. You will be supporting nine individuals.
Some of their favourite things to do are; going in to town; shopping; going to the pub and having their friends round to visit. They are very independent and have very active social lives.
As they like to live as independently as possible the support they require is more around prompting; encouragement and supporting the individuals to make their own choices.
They would love someone who is friendly; sociable; and likes to get involved.
Flexibility is a must as you will need to be available to work across various shifts to include; days, evenings, sleep-ins and weekends.
