Job Title: Hospitality Assessor (FOH / BOH)

Salary: £28,800 – £30,000 (Dependent on location) + Bonus

Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Travel Expenses, Equipment to perform the role.

Location: London / Heathfield / Bexhill on Sea / Eastbourne (Must be flexible with travel) – Ideal candidate will be based around the Croydon area but not essential.

KM are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a private Training Provider who is looking to appoint an experienced Hospitality (Front of House / Back of House) Assessor to join their established team.

The successful Assessor will be home based and be responsible for the training, assessment and support of a caseload of learners undertaking Apprenticeships in Hospitality (Housekeeping, Front of House and Professional Cookery) and to ensure the timely and accurate completions in line with company procedures and timescales.

Duties include:

– Delivering full Apprenticeship frameworks Hospitality (Housekeeping, Front of House and Professional Cookery) to levels 2/3 including Functional Skills (Maths / English / ICT) at level 2
– Visiting/observing learners in their place of work to gather evidence towards their Apprenticeship/QCF qualifications in Hospitality (Housekeeping, Front of House and Professional Cookery)
– Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted
– Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress
– Support, advise and motivate learners
– Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner`s needs
– Assessors are expected to take part in Learner Recruitment to maintain own caseload, this will include generating recruits for the Apprenticeship programme by carrying out business development activities.

Essential Criteria:

– Recognised Assessor award: D32/D33, A1, TAQA or CAVA
– Experience of delivering full Apprenticeships in Hospitality (Housekeeping, Front of House and Professional Cookery) with Functional Skills
– Must hold a minimum of 3 years occupational experience in Hospitality (Housekeeping, Front of House and Professional Cookery), within a supervisory or management role
– The ability to hit the ground running with a full caseload
– Excellent achievement rates
– Organisational skills are a must
– Full, clean driving license and use of a vehicle
– Must be flexible with travel throughout London, East Sussex and surrounding areas
