Family Support Worker

We urgently require an experienced Family Support Worker to undertake home visits and complete statutory section 17 assessments. Experience of working with children and families in a statutory setting. Experience of mediating between young persons and their family in a work setting. Experience of information technology particualrly word processing spreadsheets and using client index data bases. Experience of accurately collating and presenting extensive statistical information. Accurate communication skills both written and verbal. Good understanding of the problems that may result in young people becoming homeless. Ability to start work at 9am is essential. Ability of work unsociable hours at short notice. Ability to work to deadlines, organise and self-motivate and manage time effectively. Ability to communicate, listen, and record detailed information.
