Up to £45,000 plus car and 33 days holiday

Company information: This well-respected regional civil works contractor has secured a number of contracts with major house-builders and main contractors in the West and East Midlands region. Having an enviable reputation in providing quality service, and proven delivery, this contractor now seeks an Estimator/Surveyor with experience within the civil sector.

Key Skills required:

Estimating contracts at PQQ stage of the tender process.

Strong knowledge and experience of surveying roads, sewers and groundworks.

Commercially aware and astute.

Ability to provide commercial information to the operations teams, including cost and contractual advice.

Evaluation of contract documentation.

Strong knowledge of building technologies and Construction process.

Having an inquisitive personality and think outside the box.

Evaluation of sub contract packages.

Client liaison skills.

High level of attention to detail.

Working within a customer focused team.

Good at problem solving and providing effective solutions to the clients and the delivery team.

The ideal candidate will have between 5 and 10 years experience in groundworks.

This is an exciting and challenging role for an individual who wants to develop their career in the Civil Construction sector. Commercial awareness and financial management are key for the role.
