A world renowned manufacturing group is currently looking to recruit an ambitious Shift Manager, As a Shift Manager you will be at the forefront of manufacturing and production for a global client base worldwide. You will be an integral member of driving several key projects at different stages of completion, you will be tasked with managing the growth of the production team with merging onto a shift pattern, moving to a brand new factory, adhering to KPI’s and generally managing the growth of the business as they expand further.
Role & Responsibilities:
*Supervising production operations on days to ensure timely completion of product runs to customers and assembly departments
*Maintaining OEE and production targets within manufacturing area
*Implementing 5S and lean manufacturing plans
*Motivating and leading team of up to 15 operators across the manufacturing area
*Good understanding of production and planning
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
*Must have experience in a supervisory role from a manufacturing environment
*Someone with experience working in an Electronic, Plastic Injection mould, Automotive, FMCG or Medical device environment would be desirable
*A candidate with an enthusiastic approach to his daily activities
*Knowledge and experience of health and safety regulations
*Strong management skills
