A leading construction products manufacturer based in Tamworth, is looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to join its UK Marketing team to provide in-house creative services.

About the Role:

This role is for someone with a strong blend of creative skills, experience with a variety of creative tools and a natural curiosity for new technologies.

As you will be responsible for the full spectrum of creative services, your day might begin with DTP in the morning and end with 3D rendering in the afternoon (with some Photoshop in between).

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will work closely with our sales and engineering teams and managing director to conceive and develop marketing assets and campaigns promoting company products, services and values.

Main Responsibilities:

* Maintain DTP layouts and content for technical catalogues

* Produce ad hoc brochures and fliers

* Create artwork for trade publication advertising

* Create image content for web and social media publication

* Photography and video (shooting and postproduction)

* Maintain the marketing asset library

Required Skills and Experience:

* An HND or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design or a similar discipline is required

* Previous experience in a similar Graphic Design role would be preferred

* A high proficiency level in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop is essential

* Proficiency in the use of Adobe Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects also, would be useful

* Photography and videography experience

Other relevant skills:

* You will occasionally collaborate with colleagues from marketing teams in several European countries. You won’t need to speak a foreign language, just be a team player.

* Project size and length varies a great deal. You need to be able to switch gears to summon creative energy in one moment and a meticulous attention to detail in the next.

* Our brand is a precious commodity. We need someone that can find a balance of creativity that respects our corporate design.

* Listening skills are vital

* Be process driven, we have some useful tools to help with proofing and asset management that we encourage the use of.
