Architectural Technologist

Salary: £33,600 – £48,000 per year

As a Product Manager (Architectural Technologist), you will have the following accountabilities:

• Management of production of design and working drawings for England & Scotland core range and site specific housetypes, standard details and external works information
• Ensuring that core product is compliant with current Approved Documents
• Ensuring that site specific housetypes are compliant with site specific regulatory and planning requirements
• Managing the update of core range product in line with forthcoming regulatory requirements
• Managing the update of product range in line with housetype review process
• Responsible for review and update the Construction notes Sales specification for the product range in conjunction with the Commercial and Sales Teams
• Ensuring teams are kept abreast of new technologies and specifications in answer to more stringent regulations
• Regular review of production information to ensure clarity for supply chain and customers

You will have the following:

• Ideally a qualified architectural technician / technologist with housebuilding and product design experience
• Experienced new build residential development (housing and apartments)
• Experienced in product design and value engineering
• Experienced in regulatory compliance in English and Scottish Regulations
• Ideally experience of a similar role within a plc volume housebuilder
• Software competence specifically in Autocad but also including MS Word, and Excel
