Salary: £42,000 per year

The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Projects, you will be responsible for the planning / scheduling of current and future demand requirements, analysis and reporting, to ensure completion of customer requirements.

The individual may be required to travel to client premises on an occasional basis.

Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for providing scheduling and planning for the Operations department, including change control.
* Produce periodical sales, design, production and installation schedules and maintenance processes, for use by the business.
* Produce a set of key management information including;
o demand forecasts and actual versus f/c variation,(annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly),
othroughput reports: by value, by customer, by technology,
oresource plans and utilisation plans
* Implementation of planning standards and processes to support effective design, purchasing, material inventory, manufacture including real time reschedule as required for the company.
* Development of clear and accurate reports with innovation of information automation and analysis.
* Work closely with project delivery, engineering & manufacturing in the creation and maintenance of an overall programme plan
* Actively support the delivery of the operations strategy for the organisation.
* Support sales and bid management activities to develop and ensure a consistent and reliable delivery plan is correctly costed and applied to all proposals.
* Participating in the manufacturing executive meeting.
* Provide innovation and continuous improvement to ensure a fit for purpose planning environment.

Person Specification:
* Minimum 4 years planning/forecasting experience gained within a manufacturing environment
* Use of planning software (ERP and MRP) such as SAP and Primavera
* Project Management experience
* Strong influencing skills, ability to work effectively with cross functional teams
* MS Office proficiency including MS Project
* Degree or equivalent in business, supply chain or production management
* Strong numerical and financial acumen.
* Able to establish deadlines and work to deadlines.
* Robust written and oral communication skills, with good understanding of data analysis and reporting tools

Salary:
Circa £42,000pa, plus employee benefits package.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am to 5pm.
