Pyramid8 have a fantastic opportunity for a Content Manager to join their client within a technical role to help grow a brand-new product within a well-established business.
Content is the main factor to our client’s product and the key to the product being a success. As a content manager you should have experience 360 content with a graphic design background, be a strong negotiator and relationship builder as this role doesn’t just include content it’s about building rapport with clients.

The role:
- Managing 360 content, covering a wide range of different environments, including but not limited to.
- Primary Education – KS1/2
- Secondary Education – KS3/4
- Higher Education
- Business & Corporate environments
- Working with 3rd party companies who either have a range of content which is suitable or developing a range of content in conjunction with them.
- Working with our customers, both existing, new and planned, to determine what content will be required for their immersive room to be successful.
- Planning the launch of new content.
- Research new and upcoming projects to support the creation of new designs and animations.
- Support the project planning stage, conceptualize ideas and processes to develop a Project Action Plan and communicate this to the wider team to meet Client deadlines.
- Edit and update animations/content following review of feedback from Directors, Game Designers, Clients and other animations, providing regular communications and updates for iterations through to when the final design is approved.
- Gain regular feedback from Clients, Designers and Directors to review the Project Action Plan and agree content development timelines.
- Attend Client/team meetings to review project progression, collaborate on new design ideas and evaluate development of a project.
Requirements
- An understanding of the workflow that enables 360 content to be broadcast
- Understanding of relevant artist/animation/graphic design.
- Technical/Computer skills using 3D software (blender, Maya, 3Ds Max, Cinema 4D)
- Experience of 360/VR content workflow/UV editing and texturing
- Understanding of video codecs, streaming protocols, bit rates is desirable
- Technical understanding for building server, PC components and rendering frames
- A friendly professional manner, adaptable to work with Client requests.
- Self-motivated, ambitious and results orientated with an ability to thrive under pressure
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience of dealing directly with a wide variety of people.
- Flexible approach to working, excellent time management skills.
- Positive attitude and an eagerness to learn.
