Mechanical Project Manager

Salary: £54,000 – £60,000 per year

Parkinson Gray Associates have been engaged as Recruiting Agent to assist our Client, a major national retail focussed contracting business, with their acquisition of an experienced Mechanical Project Manager.

This is a major national contractor, based in West Yorkshire but working up and down the length of the UK. With a wealth of large national retail Clients, they are working both directly with the end-user and main contractors to deliver their extensive portfolio of MEP retail projects.

As Mechanical Project Manager you will join a team of fellow building services professionals in order to deliver projects on time, within budget and to demanding quality standards. You will be working on a specific account, ensuring that the Clients needs are met in all aspects. You will take projects from inception through to completion, all the while with an eye on fostering the long term relationship the business has with them. Projects will range from those small in scale but numerous, all the way up to major new build projects. Contracting for national retail Clients is always a challenge in terms of timescale and pace. Projects will be numerous, varied and geographically separate, so this is a challenging role.

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager for this role, ideally with extensive experience of retail contracting. You should have a proven track record of profitable project delivery and be able to provide industry references, at the appropriate time, of course. Travel will be a feature of this role, owing to the nature of the work. There may also be occasions where some unsocial hours are required.
