Our Client is looking to recruit a 1st Line Support IT Technicians as soon as possible, to work in our dedicated team and provide 1st class IT service to our clients throughout the UK. Based in our modern open plan offices, you will become a key member of the services team helping us add value to our clients while achieving the best possible customer services experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is both customer focused and technical who is looking to further their career and thrive in our dynamic working environment.
Working within a dedicated team of technical IT professionals, you will provide remote and onsite IT services to our clients throughout the South East. Some of our larger clients require regular scheduled onsite Helpdesk services where we become an integral part of their in-house IT team. This is key service delivered on a quarterly rota basis and one in which you, as a professional IT person, will be heavily involved in. During non-rota periods, you will be based at our headquarters providing remote support services to a large and diverse range of clients.
It is inevitable that your knowledge will naturally increase, however, we also encourage career progression by providing training opportunities for you both internally and externally including funding your Microsoft Certifications. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with basic to intermediate desktop support skills looking to further their career in a growing, positive and enjoyable environment.

Experience / Key Skills
• Minimum of 12 months previous IT work experience
• Car owner with a full driving license
• Intelligent, quick logical mind. Ability to analyse and troubleshoot a problem arriving at a logical solution.
• Moderate desktop operating systems experience (Windows XP/7/8). Basic knowledge of servers and Active Directory would be a useful but not essential.
• Previous Helpdesk experience in a similar role would be advantageous
• Has initiative and resourceful approach.
• Flexibility and ability to learn quickly or under pressure. Well-developed communication skills both written and oral.
• Understands the importance of documentation. Has a “can do” attitude
• Good communication skills are paramount. Able to balance working under pressure with a need to escalate and respond to client demand. Polite, courteous and customer focused. Ability to liaise effectively and build rapport with clients.
• Has a commercial awareness, able to identify and communicate opportunities for the sales team to seize
• Enthusiastic, self motivated and keen to learn!

Key Tasks will include:
• Providing 1st line telephone, remote and onsite support to clients throughout the South East.
• Part of quarterly team rota
• Key project resource for customer infrastructure/software implementations
• Responsible for documentation of work
• Evaluation and exposure to new technologies and products for resale potential
• Training will be provided.
