Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm

Salary: Starting £26,000per year

Contract: Temporary – Permanent

Location: Linton

We are looking for an Senior Production Supervisor to work for a successful and rapidly growing company in Linton, Cambridge. The Operations Assistant has the responsibility to assist with operations within the factory, employee scheduling. In and out going goods scheduling. The nature of the role means that workload will fluctuate naturally and hence the successful candidate will need to be flexible and organised to ensure company requirements are adhered to. Ongoing improvement of operating systems will be an essential part of the role as the company develops.

EmployeeManagement/ Working Along Side HR

Manage Holidays, absenteeism, timekeeping and any day to day employee grievances that may arise.
Involvement in recruitment of new employees for factory
Ensure employees are trained and competent
Assisting with Process Control- Working along side Company Manager

Scheduling-Provide strategic planning of factory workload to meet customer deadlines.
Ensure correct manning levels at every work station
Continuous improvement and development of systems
Company Systems

Induction training for all new employees and contractors
Ensure work instructions are available at all work stations
Respond in good time to audit non-compliances (NCR’s) internal and external that are raised with regards to products/services/processes.
Work closely with Supervisors to ensure quality and maintenance/housekeeping targets are being adhered to.
Communicate delivery schedule with Company Manager and work together to ensure customers requirements are adhered to.
Quality Control

Manage quality of products in production and instructing staff to correct
any quality control issues.
Manage final inspections to ensure quality issues are spotted before the
customer receives delivery.
Liaise with Company Manager to resolve issues created by dispatch and/or quality.
Investigate customer complaints with regards to quality of products.
Maintenance of ISO accreditation
