Support Worker – L / D

Fantastic organization are looking for a Support Worker in Thornbury. The main job role is supporting a gentleman who has learning disabilities and cerebral palsy.

This is a full time role where you will be giving 121 support, helping with:
-Personal care
-Cooking/meal times
-Administering medication as he is diabetic,

Your support will enable the client to have access within the community and maintaining as much independence as possible.

You will be confident in working with someone with Learning disabilities, although NVQ training can be provided

By looking after the same client it enables you to build up trust and an empowering relationship, helping them to have the best quality of life

You will have a driving licence but a car is not essential. You will be happy to work independently.

You will be working to a shift rota covering the hours 7.00am and 11.00pm
