Information Governance Manager NHS – Band 7 Remote Working

Salary: £33.6 – £36 per hour

Belmont Recruitment have a requirement for Band 7 Information Governance Manager, in Central London. We’re currently working with a trust in Central London looking for a Information Governance to work on a 3 – 6 month basis with the likelihood of it being extended.

The role is to work within a hospital setting within the NHS, and you must have, an in-depth experience of delivering a full Information Governance function across an organization including information sharing and transfer, legislation, training, FOI, Subject Access requests, IG incidents, IG risk and records management.

The role is full time hours, currently working remote however there may be travel required across different sites across London.

 Job purpose:

• The postholder will ensure that the statutory information requests functions (including FOI/EIR and SAR) are managed appropriately by the IG Team
• The role will take line management responsibility for the IG Facilitators and IG Officers in the IG Team.
• To provide subject matter expert advice to staff regarding data protection, and information governance queries
• To review Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and provide expert advice to services
• Assist compliance requirements in the NHS Data Security & Protection Toolkit (DSPT)
• Contribute to the production of Information Governance reports and papers to go to the Trust’s Board, Information Governance Group and other governance groups.
