Galley Assembly Technicians

Aircraft Galley Operatives needed for the build and assembly of aircraft galleys for a world leader in the manufacture of advance aircraft galleys.
Assembly operations will include some metal cutting and forming as well as layout of rivet patterns, drilling, deburring, and solid rivet setting. Metal forming and mating of welded parts is needed to perfect fit.
Reading and interpreting drawings and standards.
Perform modification, repair and manufacture of aircraft galley to include assembling and disassembling of, Galleys.
Fitting, cutting, pop reverting and screwing all kinds of panels with honeycomb composites.
Dismantle & assemble of galleys, as well as making panels and construction of galleys from scratch. Working with Tedlar and glues. Working with composites such as Tedlar used in aircraft galleys.
Working within various manufacturing stages, including; panel Prep, sub-assembly, potting inserts, building panels bonding and final assembly. Working with composite materials (mostly carbon, aluminium, wood) and working from drawings.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Working knowledge of aircraft galley assembly using honeycomb material such as fibre-lam.
Galley Technician / Finals Build.
Experienced in the repaired of honeycomb composite panels for aircraft galleys as per maintenance manual.
Assembled / installed mechanical parts and composites for aircraft galley modules and structures.
Potting inserts, installing blocks and forming panels by using jigs as per approved drawings.
Ability to applying Tedlar material.
Manufacturing and assembly of aircraft galleys such as panel assembly, detail, final detail and final galley build.
Bench assembly experience and will have experience of assembling parts working from Engineering Drawings.
Reviewing Repair schemes and engineering drawings to build galleys.
Ripping edge members, reworking panels, removing and re-bonding block.
Building galleys to the latest revision and final assembly. Gluing, bonding and packing.
Using inspection tools such as Micrometers and Verniers.
Bonding of Galley monuments using jigs and fixtures.
Assembling aircraft galley kit panels following a particular work order.
Manufacturing an aircraft galley with an approved engineering drawing.
ASSEMBLY of galley and stowage parts.
EXPERIENCED in Aircraft galley assembly for AIRBUS A319, A320, A321, A330, A340, A350, A380 aircraft or BOEING B737, B747, B757, B767, B777, B787.
Consideration for business jet galley build experience for the likes of Gulfstream Aircraft, Challenger Aircraft, Bombardier Aircraft.

OTHER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Conversant and competent with the use of hand tools, aircraft tooling and test equipment involved in the production of aircraft galley assemblies.
Ensure adherence to EN 9100, EN9110, EASA Part 21 (G) and Part 145 and associated Customer approvals.
Self-motivated and an ability to work under pressure.
Able to read and interpreting engineering drawings and standards.
Keep abreast with all work procedures, company policies, standards and procedures, manufacturers’ specification and standards.
