Electrical Engineer

Experienced Electrical Engineer required to join an established company on a permanent basis.

Electrical Engineer Job Specification:

To provide a safe, high quality, cost effective maintenance service to site assets including preventative, predictive and breakdown maintenance ensuring achievement of Engineering Key Performance Indicators, targets and budgets.

To identify critical spares for production equipment, liaising with the stores coordinator to ensure corrective stock is keep

To be proactive and responsive to departmental maintenance demands reflecting business priorities.

To actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the department and operations.

To work with and support Business Systems.

Participate in Risk Assessments, safety issues/actions.

To provide a proactive communication system between shifts and peers ensuring factory and department issues are delivery on time.

Electrical Engineer Person Specification:
Recognised electrical apprenticeship.
Logical fault finding approach to breakdowns.
Communicate effectively written, verbal and PC.
Team member – communicate well with others Good problem solver
Pro-active, ability to drive through continuous improvement initiatives.

The role holder must be self motivated and have the ability to work unsupervised, using there own initiative. They must be a team player who demonstrates a high level of commitment, adopts a flexible and positive approach, and able to demonstrate tenacity, and assume accountability for the operations teams.

Hours: Continental Shift Pattern
4 on 4 off pattern(days & nights)
Salary: £39.6– 35,000 P/A
