Site Manager – Civils

Overview
Our client have an exciting opportunity for a Civils Site Manager to join their permanent staff, based in Cumbria, managing sites in Cumbria and the North West. The Civils Site manager will have responsibility for the control of day to day activities on Civil Engineering Schemes valued at £1 – £5 million in value.

Role
Civils Site Manager whose responsibilities will include;

Key Accountabilities:
Induct workforce, review and prepare risk assessments and method statements
Monitor progress against programme, taking off & calling off materials in advance of work
Maintain up to date and accurate records of measurement for direct and subcontract works
Liaise with the client and our clients management team.
Maintain company quality assurance documentation for ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001 systems
Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, variation reports for the scheme
Manage information flow and identify technical queries

Experience Required
· Computer literate
· CSCS card
· 5 day Site Managers Safety certificate
· Experience of civil engineering scheme of values £100k – £5million
· First aid at work certificate
· Confined spaces
· Raswa

Remuneration
Extremely competitive on application.
