Their client base is growing across various markets including scientific, medical and motorsport, with an excellent reputation for high quality to tight tolerance precision machined components. You will be working with a small, highly skilled team of time served engineers in a friendly and open working atmosphere.

Job Profile

As a CNC Machinist you will be working alongside a highly skilled team of CNC Machinists and an approachable management team on up to date machining centres and lathes. You will be producing high end components and assemblies for a varied client base where each day will be different and rewarding.

Duties

* Programming, setting and operating 3 axis & 4 axis Haas CNC Mills

* Programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes

* Programming offline using MasterCam, OneCNC, FeatureCam and Fusion 360

* Machining to tolerances of +/- 0.02

* Prototype and modelling work

* Producing often complex small sized components of varying batch sizes

* Self-inspection using CMM machine

* Working with various general engineering materials such as Brass, Stainless Steels and Ali

Skills and Experience

* Able to program and set both mills and lathes

* Experience of using MasterCam, OneCNC, FeatureCam and Fusion 360

* Renishaw probing experience

* Macro programming

* Able to program CMM machines

* Experienced in part modeling design and simulation

* Preferable experience in motorsport

Hours of Work & Benefits

* 39 hrs per week

* 08.00 – 17.00, Monday to Thursday, Friday 13.00 finish

* Can be flexible on hours if needed

* Overtime x1.33 after 48 hours x1.5
