Salary: £168 – £240 per day

18 Month Possible Fixed Term Contract.

An opportunity has arisen within My NHS Client based in Yorkshire. The post is working in the Training Service Department, They are looking for 2 Clinical Service Trainers to join the team. The trainers will work with the eMedicines project team to design, deliver, evaluate and review training to support the successful implementation of eMedicines during the 18 month contract.

Working as a member of the Education, Training and Development (ETD) Service within the Informatics Directorate the post holder will be responsible for developing the EPR (Electronic Patient Record) training documentation, whilst creating and updating the EPR help file. To provide quality assured training and support. The post holder will work to Performance and Learning Institute and Department of Health ETD Standards in support of the trusts Informatics Strategy.

The Clinical Systems Trainer will design, develop, deliver and evaluate training courses to members of the Trust (and potentially some external staff) at various locations. He/she will assist with the up keep of training records and courseware as appropriate. Deliver a complete training service to support the implementation of Informatics projects as required by the Training Manager and or management teams. This will involve testing new systems, maintaining professional relationships with stakeholders, negotiating and planning training deployments. Any other duties deemed appropriate at this level of responsibility.

You will need to be confident in your approach to teaching and demonstrate suitable experience. You will be expected to react quickly to situations with confidence within the role and be able to work autonomously when required. The role will also require you to lead on the setting up of the eMedicines training programme. We want you to be innovative and questioning in your approach to training and be able to assist in the successful development of this new programme.

You will demonstrate a working knowledge of the NHS and its quality associated processes.
