We are currently recruiting Personal Banking Consultants with a starting package £27,124, this is made up of a base salary of £20,603, circa £1500 discretionary performance related bonus, plus £500 flexible benefits allowance.

You’ll be growing customer loyalty by completing applications and fulfilling product requests for our Retail, Private and Select customers. This entails delivering a non-advised service to our customers, helping them to make an informed decision around their Unsecured Lending, Banking, Credit Cards and Savings needs, whilst ensuring adherence to treating customers fairly and risk & control guidelines

You’ll put our customers at the heart of everything you do; expertly matching each customer’s needs to products and services that are right for them. The ability to build sustainable relationships with our customers will be essential in making that happen.

  • Acting as the first point of contact for customers over the phone
  • Assisting with day-to-day transactions, queries, whilst educating our customers on digital transformation and promoting the benefits of using digital platforms and tools
  • Ensuring contact details are up to date using Customer Data Enrichment
  • Helping to keep our customers and the bank safe
  • Building meaningful relationships with our customers and finding solutions, through positive and tailored conversations with customers
  • Developing your knowledge of services and products to help our customers
  • Identifying new ways to improve the customer experience

What you’ll bring.

  • Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service either from a face to face or a telephony background with a financial services background
  • The ability to listen and communicate effectively with customers to truly understand their needs

It would also be nice for you to have.

  • A real desire to go above-and-beyond for customers
  • Effective team working skills with a flexible, can-do approach to work
  • Ability to follow process but also think on your feet
  • Openness to a broad range of activities even if outside of standard expectations

What else you need to know.

Contact Centre Hours

In this full-time role you’ll work rotational 7-hour shifts between 8.00am to 8.00pm Mon-Fri on a 4-week rotation. As well as 5 hours between 8.00am to 4.00pm on a Saturday twice every four weeks, during these weeks 2 of the seven-hour shifts will be eight hours. This role offers the option of Hybrid working, combining both remote and office-based working.
