Mechanical Design Engineer – South London – 3-6 months

An excellent opportunity has become available for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join an excellent forward thinking building services company on a contract basis.

The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for
– Manual calculation of heat losses and gains (no Hevacomp available)
– Ventilation calculations
– Duct/pipe sizing
– Plant sizing and preparation of schedules
– Drafting drawings for tender and coordination with architectural/structural/electrical engineers
– Write up mechanical specification
– Basic Public Health design skills (hot water calorifier sizing, pipe sizing, schematics etc)
