Area Sales Manager

Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 per year

My client is a market leading European manufacturer who focus on quality and innovation. They manufacture high pressure hose nozzles that products that are sold to contractors, utility companies and distributors primarily within the construction and associated sectors. They are on the cusp of a large expansion plan within the UK, so it’s an exciting time to get involved.

You will be selling directly to contractors that work within the water utility and associated sectors. The role will focus on the M62 area and Northern England, but you will be expected to travel further afield on occasion. The role is a mixture of new business and account management. As part of the business development you will be expected to demonstrate the products to potential customers, as well attending trade shows and exhibitions. You will have experience of selling a technical product, either mechanical, in the construction or industrial markets. You will be provided with a company van that you will use to demonstrate the products. Due to the nature of the role some overnight stays will be required.
