Position: Senior Electronics Design Engineer
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £48,000 – £54,000

My client are an Electronics based business located in a very technologically advanced area in Cambridge and work in a market containing some of the most interesting technology possible. At present, they are looking for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to work on existing projects and start on new business. You will be required at hands on level to fit into a medium size team with less experienced engineers reporting directly to you as a senior member of staff. This is a permanent opportunity that has come about through a long standing member of staff retiring. With this in mind, they are looking for a candidate with a proven track record of long, permanent positions where they have developed.

Key Requirements:

– Degree in a relevant subject (Electronics/physics)
– 5+ years experience in a pure design focussed role
– Expert knowledge and experience in Analogue design
– Expert knowledge in Digital design
– Expert knowledge in Embedded C programming/UML
– Expert knowledge of Microcontrollers/Microprocessors
– Working knowledge of ARM cortex
– Experience of designing with EMC standards in mind
– Working knowledge of DSP
– FPGA design would be beneficial
– Knowledge of Video/Imaging systems would be a bonus
