THE BUSINESS
Hamilton Mayer International are presently working in collaboration with a national, highly prominent UK home builder. The organisation prides itself upon its award-winning homes which are situated in prime locations throughout the UK. The company are searching for an experienced Head of Construction with a clear eye for detail to provide leadership and direction for years to come.
THE ROLE
* The successful candidate will head up the Construction team for a 380+ unit region across 12 sites.
* Lead the project team in construction and evaluate the costs of each development whilst co-coordinating with the design teams and clients to report and move forward with building recommendations.
* Responsible for all construction and production functions on site including Health and Safety, maintaining high quality in terms of product and service whilst also maintaining customer satisfaction in terms of an end product
* Responsible for Sub-Contractor selection, training, review and management
* Ensure the production process lines up with pre-determined budgets and timescales and deliver an end product of exceptional standard
* Analyse current policies and procedures with the opportunity to implement your own strategies in order to improve efficiency of the daily running of the construction operations and contributed success of the company.
REQUIREMENTS
* The preferred candidate will be a Head of Construction looking for a new opportunity or an experienced Senior Contracts/Construction Manager ready to progress.
* Must have at least 5 years’ experience working for a well-known home builder.
* Relevant industry qualifications or professional membership.
* Management and problem-solving capabilities are essential.
* Excellent eye for detail and be pro-active in solving issues when they arise
