My client is a specialist food manufacturing company who are looking to recruit an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to add to their existing Maintenance team to work a 12 hour days and nights shift pattern. The company have recently invested heavily in new machines and equipment on site to increase production capacity and performance.

You must have the following:

– Must be Electrically biased and ideally served a recognised apprenticeship
– Must have 16th or 17th edition as a minimum
– Must be able to work independently and in a small team
– It is essential candidates can work under pressure
– Ideally candidates would have food experience, but other FMCG backgrounds will certainly be considered.

Role:
The role will be a mix of electrical and mechanical maintenance. The work could range from a mix of reactive and pre planned maintenance as well as a setting up the line ready for new production runs. The electrical work will mainly be panel work, replacing contactors and sensors, working on drives, FFR on PLCs etc.The mechanical work could be stripping down machines, faultfinding on hydraulics, pneumatics, chains and bearings. The candidates could be working on a range of equipment including ovens, depositors, packaging machines, check weighers, labellers, and conveyors.
