Service Engineer – Laboratory Equipment
The Company: Is a very successful family owned organisation, renowned for excellent customer service and standard of work. They provide innovative equipment for use in laboratories including pharmaceutical, biotech, agrochemical, chemical and fine chemical markets. They both manufacture and service and distribute on behalf of others.
The Role of Field Service: As a Service Technician you will be responsible for preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, ongoing training and installations across a range of high profile clients. There will be a lot of client interaction as various level who will typically include clinical staff. On occasion you will provide training and help develop relationships with customers.
The Candidate: Personality, enthusiasm and customer service skills are key in this busy professional role. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in service and repair of laboratory equipment however specific sector experience is not required. Exposure of electrical or electronic equipment will be beneficial as would some basic mechanical exposure. Either formal qualifications or long standing experience in electrical or electronics are desirable and previous exposure to analytical equipment would be a distinct advantage.

* Basic Salary: Up to £36,000

Location: Candidates living in the Cambridgeshire region including Haverhill, Bishops Stortford and Cambridge would be suitable and the role includes both site and field based work.
