Assistant Farm Operative

If you do not live locally to Penrith, you must have a driving license and own transport.

Job type: Temporary (3 month Probation period) with the view to a Permanent contract
Salary: £26,000 per year – Overtime paid at x1.5 and Bonus’ included
Hours: 6 days on & 2 days off Rota – 8am to 5pm
Location: Penrith, Cumbria

We are looking for reliable and hardworking candidates who are willing to learn new skills. Training programme is provided.

Responsibilities:

* Bird welfare and ensuring they are consistently living in conditions of the highest standard

* Collecting and packaging items ready for dispatch

* Operating within the batch inspection department – Involves Quality control and assurance

Skills and Experience:

* Prior agricultural/farming experience is desirable but not essential

* Multi tasking and problem solving skills

* Good attention to detail
