About you
Are you a Part Qualified Accountant, with experience working in an accountancy practice, looking to progress your career in an exciting Brighton technology and financial services company?

About the job
As a Senior Accountant you will:
• Be AAT qualified or studying for a chartered qualification
• have a minimum of 2 years experience working in an accountancy practice
• Have knowledge or experience in the following areas: Limited company accounts, Personal & Corporation Tax calculations, payroll & VAT calculations.
• Be highly organised
• Have experience in reviewing the work of junior members
• Have excellent Communication Skills
• Have good initiative and the ability to problem solve
• Have an interest in working in a modern and sociable environment
• Be a key team player who is looking to gain some managerial experience
You will be responsible for:
• Reviewing junior team members accounts & tax returns
• Assisting the Team Leader in keeping on top of deadlines and workloads for the team
• Assisting in the accountancy training of junior team members
• Answering varied accountancy queries from clients by email & phone
• Ensuring regular reports on the performance of the team.
Salary: £26,400 – £33,600DOE
