Salary: £54,000 – £60,000 per year
Unique opportunity to work as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer designing new electrical switchgear control panels and protection systems for a wide variety of end clients across oil and gas, paper, telecoms, power stations and sewage works. 90% will be new product design and 10% enhancements to existing products. The successful Senior Electrical Design Engineer should have a good understanding of MV-HV electrical power generation control, instrumentation and protection systems. Essential Electrical Design Engineer (C&I) Skills:
• Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering
• Experience designing medium to high voltage switchgear and electrical control equipment such as automatic voltage regulators (AVRs), generator excitation and synchronization systems, load sharing equipment and protection relays
• Understanding of MV-HV electrical power generation control, instrumentation and protection systems, ideally including 15kv cubicles
