Consultant Ornithologist

My client, a well respected environmental planning and design consultancy have grown steadily over the past few years across a number of areas that they operate in, and now have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant level Ornithologist.

This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to join a medium sized Environmental Specialist Consultancy which offers great career development as well as a fabulous team ethic.

You will be a passionate Ornithologist with excellent bird ID skills, you will also be comfortable with carrying out the full range of ornithological surveys, particularly, but not limited to renewable energy schemes. You’ll also complete desk studies and survey design projects. Data management and use of GIS is important within this role, as is your collaboration with the broader UK team.

This role will provide a competitive salary and wider package, but will also provide opportunities to support in some terrestrial ecology surveys if this is of interest to the applicant.
