Deputy Nursing Home Manager

Up to £50,000

I am looking for an experienced Deputy Manager for a fabulous Nursing Home in Hadleigh, Suffolk. The home has 54 beds and has been thoughtfully decorated and furnished with residents in mind, providing a comfortable and homely living experience for 24-hour nursing, residential and dementia care facilities for the residents.

In this role you will:

• Work alongside the Home Manager, managing and having responsibility for all aspects of the service in line with CQC requirements
• Ensure the service users are receiving the highest standards of professional support experiencing life opportunities helping to promote growth and independence
• Deal with the day to day running of the home in the absence of the Home Manager
• Promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing/ agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home

For this great role you must have:

• An active NMC nursing pin (RGN or RMN)
• Previous experience of working as a Deputy Home Manager
• The ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care
• A Good working knowledge of CQC standards
• The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals/ families/ visitors and staffing teams
